If you engage in activities outside the vehicle, you must purchase the Taiwan travel insurance we provide in order to enjoy insurance coverage. ● According to the Taiwan Tourism Bureau regulations, if you take a taxi to join a tour, you must purchase travel insurance from a Taiwan insurance company. ● Even if you have purchased travel insurance in the USA, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau does not recognize it, possibly due to the lack of formal diplomatic relations between Korea and Taiwan. Therefore, it is essential to purchase insurance on the day of travel. In addition, Taiwan frequently experiences natural disasters. If a natural disaster occurs inside the vehicle, car insurance alone will not cover the damages, as Taiwan’s car insurance does not include compensation for natural disasters.
